Description

The Road Traffic Office of the Canton of Zurich has commissioned the Pöschwies Correctional Facility in Regensdorf to manufacture cantonal vehicle license plates. To fulfill this production mandate effectively over the long term—ensuring economic viability and impeccable quality—it is necessary to procure modern production equipment, relevant system accessories, and associated services.

The subject of this tender is the selection of a capable supplier for:

Embossing presses: High-performance machines for license plate production, including necessary operational accessories.
Embossing dies and storage: Complete sets of embossing dies and suitable, organized storage systems for safe and efficient handling.
Hot-stamping machines: Specialized machines for the precise coloring of embossed license plates.
Staff training: Comprehensive training and instruction for the facility's operating personnel to ensure safe and professional operation of all equipment.
Maintenance and support (SLA): Conclusion of a Service Level Agreement to ensure ongoing maintenance, periodic inspections, and rapid troubleshooting for maximum operational reliability.

The machinery, tools, and services to be supplied must be fully suitable for the production of Swiss vehicle license plates. They must strictly comply with all applicable technical specifications and defined quality standards for Swiss license plates.

The objective of this tender is to conclude a supply contract covering delivery, installation, commissioning, and training, as well as a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA) for ongoing maintenance.
