Energy Counseling Center 2028–2031

Description

The subject of this procurement is the operation of the RKBM Public Energy Counseling Center from January 1, 2028, through December 31, 2031.

The Bern-Mittelland Public Energy Advisory Service operates the independent Energy Advisory Center (EBS) on behalf of the Canton of Bern. The goal of the energy advisory service is to promote efficient, economical, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly energy supply and use.

The energy counseling service covers all topics related to the construction and operation of properties, such as energy-efficient construction and renovation, choosing the right heating system, reducing energy consumption (lighting, hot water, etc.), switching to alternative energy sources, and more. Depending on the specific issue, consultations take place by phone or email, at the RKBM office in Bern, in one or two outlying municipalities within the RKBM service area, or directly on-site at the customer’s location.
