New Core Application for the Thurgau Building Insurance Company (GVTG)

Description

The GVTG has been using the core application “Next” as its central business system for many years. In addition, various other information systems are deployed across different business units to support a range of standard operational functions. The current system landscape, and in particular the “Next” core system, no longer meets the GVTG’s current and future requirements in terms of functionality, technology, and security. The GVTG has therefore decided to procure a new core application that will replace the existing systems and provide a future-proof, integrated platform for all business processes. This procurement project is intended to establish the foundation for the sustainable modernization of the overall system landscape. The scope of procurement includes the detailed solution design, implementation, deployment, data migration, testing, training, operation of the solution throughout the contract term, as well as maintenance and support of the new core application.
