Procurement of level crossing systems and connection to the DSTW via the EULYNX framework agreement / call-off contract

Description

This call for tenders is intended to evaluate a supplier of level crossing systems for the SOB South
and East railnetwork. The aim is to conclude a framework/call-off contract for the supply of
level crossing systems for indoor and outdoor installations, as well as for project planning, factory testing and commissioning in future follow-up projects. Implementation on the South and East networks is divided into four lots and will run until 2048. The first call-off order relates to Lot 1 of the project ‘P.601924, South Network, Procurement of level crossing systems and connection to the DSTW via EULYNX’, comprising around 13 level crossing systems on the Biberbrugg – Arth Goldau section by the end of 2030. Lot 2 comprises 8 level crossing systems on the Samstagern – Einsiedeln section by 2032. Lot 3 comprises a further 11 level crossing systems on the Wädenswil – Samstagern and Pfäffikon SZ – Samstagern sections by 2039. Lot 4 covers the entire eastern network, comprising a total of 11 level crossings on the Wattwil–Nesslau-Neu St. Johann section, as well as at the stations in Lichtensteig, Schachen and Herisau.

In total, the renewal of around 43 level crossings is planned. The tender will be conducted
via an open procedure in accordance with GATT/WTO. The evaluation will be based on the published
eligibility and award criteria, in particular the tender price, the qualifications of key personnel, as well as contract analysis and sustainability.
