IWB, Servers and Virtualization Infrastructure

Description

Over the coming years, as part of the product lifecycle of the client-server infrastructure, IWB will replace or upgrade various components on a rolling basis and carry out necessary expansions and upgrades.

This request for proposals covers servers and virtualization infrastructure components.

The request for proposals is divided into two lots:

Lot 1: Server systems (compatible with the existing HP infrastructure), including maintenance

Lot 2: Virtualization software licenses (VMware and Omnissa Horizon)

Lot 1: The systems supplied must be compatible with the existing HP server infrastructure and the existing VMware infrastructure. The objective of this request for proposals for Lot 1 is to enter into a framework agreement with three vendors for a period of three years. The prices quoted for Lot 1 are valid until at least March 31, 2027. When a specific need arises, the successful bidders will be asked to submit their respective bids as part of a mini-tender. IWB will award the corresponding individual contract to the contractor offering the highest discount off the manufacturer’s price list.

Lot 2: The objective of this request for proposals for Lot 2 is to enter into a three-year framework service agreement with one provider for the procurement of virtualization licenses.
