Description
Remotorization and Replacement of the Propulsion Systems on the MS Munot
The propulsion system has remained unchanged since the ship was built in 1998 and is to continue operating in this configuration. The entire propulsion systems (2) will be replaced. The engines to be installed comply with current standards and certifications regarding exhaust emissions. As part of these measures, additional upgrades are planned, such as the replacement of the main switchboard, new cabling, and the refurbishment of the control stations. In addition, adjustments will be made to the ship’s systems in accordance with the revised and current provisions of the Swiss Shipbuilding Ordinance (AB-SBV).
