Description
In the city of Zurich, the ewz medium-voltage grid is being gradually converted from 11 kV to 22 kV. This voltage increase also affects the water supply systems.
At the Moos Lake Water Treatment Plant, the medium-voltage switchgear and all associated transformers in the purified water pumping station are being replaced. The replacement of the switchgear and the retrofitting of the transformer cells are taking place in several stages while operations continue.
