Tender for the award of framework contracts for the supply of foodstuffs for the two-year period 2027–2029 for the Giubiasco Care Home Foundation

Description

The subject of the tender is the award of framework contracts for the supply of foodstuffs for the two-year period 2027–2028 to the Giubiasco Care Home for the Elderly. The care home provides around 240 meals a day, comprising breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

The foodstuffs are divided into the following lots:

1. Meat and meat products

2. Fish and seafood

3. Dairy products and eggs

4. Fresh fruit, vegetables and pulses

5. Frozen, tinned or dried fruit, vegetables and pulses

6. Fresh bakery products

7. Long-life bakery products for the preparation of ready-to-eat pastries and desserts

8. Special frozen products

9. Beverages, coffee, tea and related products

10. Condiments, flavourings and oils

The tender procedure will solely determine the successful suppliers for each lot, who will then be included in one or more framework contracts with a two-year duration. Successful bidders may be awarded framework contracts for one or more lots.

The successful tenderers for each lot will be contacted exclusively when there is a requirement for foodstuffs relating to that lot, via a mini-tender.
